Alright everyone, here it is…our first contest! Some of you have already heard about this in advance through Tweets, so here is the information in full. Basically, we’re trying to get as many followers as possible so we can get this Canadian Jonas Brothers site out there to as many Canadians as possible! YOUR job is to help us! What will we give you in turn? Something you CAN’T get in Canada! We will give out ONE Jonas Brothers prize pack WITH a Jonas Brothers Walmart Soundcheck CDto the Twitterer who gathers us the most followers by Saturday, February 6th EDIT: We’ve extended the contest until FEBRUARY 13th! (meaning Friday night at midnight).
To compete: The person you tell to follow us has to @reply us with “@*YOUR username here* told me to follow you and should win a soundcheck CD!”
(e.g. If Joe was entering the contest, his friends would type “@jbcanadadotcom @joejonas told me to follow you and should win the soundcheck CD!” and if he got the most people to follow us, he would win!)

The cable channel has ordered a second season of the pop stars’ comedy series “Jonas” and has tapped new executive producers: showrunner Lester Lewis and director Paul Hoen.
Disney Channels Worldwide entertainment president Gary Marsh called Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, who are in Italy as part of the European leg of their Live Nation-produced world concert tour, to give them the pickup news.
Production on Season 2 of “Jonas” is slated to begin in February for a premiere in the middle of next year.
Additionally, Disney Channel has renewed the trio’s short-form reality series “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream” for a second season. Filming already is under way for a premiere early next year.
“These guys are the superstars of their generation,” Marsh said. “We had the opportunity to extend our relationship with them, which we did.”
Disney’s collaboration with the brothers extends beyond the TV series to the successful “Camp Rock” TV movie franchise, concert tours and concert movies.
Camp Rock 2 star Chloe Bridges dished to Popstar! about Jonas Brothers and Harry Potter. On JB: ‘You think that no one who is that famous and be that nice but they genuinely are! They’re such a nice family. I’m literally convinced they’re not human. There are so many signs that they’re not! They’re so nice, they’re so talented, they don’t have to sleep. I could go on and on!’
On Harry Potter: ‘I think me and Meaghan Martin have this in common. Whenever were are depressed or something, some people turn to food, we turn to Harry Potter. I have read each one of those seven books at least 20 times!’

The first concert totals are in for Nick Jonas & the Administration’s Who I Am Tour that began on Jan. 2 at the House of Blues in Dallas. Reported totals from eight venues place the band fifth among the Hot Tours of the week. Formed as a side project for Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, the group has been playing theaters and clubs on its early 2010 tour.
